Fig's Brother Kiwi

I got an email two days ago from the newly adopted mother of Fig's little brother Kiwi! Sarah found us on the Palmetto Parrotlets Testimonials page and sent me a message through TalkParrotlets.com. Kiwi is from the clutch after Fig's and shares his devilish good looks.

Finished Birdie Gym & Hammock

Our bird-safe, food coloring-dyed rope and beads finally came, so John and I were able to put together the gym and hammock, which we decided to combine. We used scraps of poplar (which is also bird-safe) and a 1/4" dowel. The rope, beads, and findings came from eBay seller insidetheparrotcage105, and the swing, which looks like it was dyed the same way, came from abirdtoy.

Fig's first response was that the hammock was terrifying, but now that he's gotten used to its presence, it might actually be fun.
